SLOPE PROVIDE IN ROAD
First off all we have an formula to for provide slope in road that is = Carriageway width X slope / 100
Now,
I will tell you how to provide slope in road. To provide slope on road follow the steps:
SETPS
Step 1 : We have to check what is the width of road in which we have to provide slope.
Step 2 : Then we see what % age of slope we have to provided in road that is given in drawing.
Step 3 : Now put the values in the formula we have
Step 4 : Suppose that the width of carriageway or width of road is 7 meter. We have to provide slope 2.5% in road.
Step 5 : Now put the all values in formulas
7x2.5/100 = .175mm
Suppose that if the R.L value of upper edge of road is 210.635. then the lower edge of road we should substract .175 mm from the 210.635.
210.635 - 0.175 = 210.460 the value should be 210.460 of lower edge.
Like that we can provide the slope of any road.
One thing to be remeber : Like we take the width of carriageway 7 meter . actually we should take the reading in every 1.5 meter because to maintain the proper slope on road.
