Bridge :- A bridge is a structure built to span a physical obstacle a body of water, valley or road without closing the way.

 

There are four types of bridges.

1.       Minor Bridge

2.       Major Bridge

3.       Flyover

4.       R.O.B (Railway Over Bridge)

 

Minor Bridge:-

    Height - 3 Meter

    Length - 6 to 59 Meter

    Span distance - not more than 16 meter

    Traffic intensity - 1 to 3000 vehicle/day

 

Major Bridge:-

    Height - 3 to 4 Meter

    Length - 60 Meter or more

    Span distance - more than 16 meter

    Traffic intensity - 3000 to 5000 vehicle/day

 

Flyover :- It is constructed as per site condition

R.O.B :- It is constructed as per site condition
